Llithium Battery

Lithium batteries are increasingly used in new energy vehicles, consumer electronics and energy storage systems, and are closely related to our daily lives. The frequent occurrence of global energy storage accidents is mostly related to the abnormal temperature of lithium batteries. Strengthening the temperature monitoring of lithium batteries and early warning of thermal runaway risks are crucial to protecting life and property. Infrared thermography has become an efficient monitoring tool with its fast and accurate temperature detection capability.

R&D and testing stage

Lithium batteries are often faced with temperature changes and the risk of thermal runaway during reliability tests and evaluation tests. The traditional thermocouple measurement method has complicated wiring, which cannot fully reflect the surface temperature of the battery pack and has high maintenance costs. Utilizing infrared thermal imaging camera to realize long-distance non-contact temperature monitoring, without affecting the testing process. Intuitively show the lithium battery surface thermal energy changes and temperature distribution, record temperature data, generate temperature trends, provide valuable data for R & D personnel, optimize product structure, improve R & D efficiency and battery life, and ensure the safety of testers.

Manufacturing

Overheating or short-circuiting of battery packs on the production line may trigger thermal runaway, requiring timely and accurate warning. Traditional thermocouples cannot effectively monitor the state of moving batteries, and localized welding may lead to abnormal heating, threatening battery safety and life. Deploying online infrared thermal imaging cameras in the workshop to monitor the battery packs in production in real time, with flexible settings for monitoring points, lines and areas, focusing on key areas. Handheld thermal imaging cameras are used for close inspection of battery welding and joints to quickly locate fault points and ensure product quality.

Storage and transportation

Collision, extrusion, vibration or internal short-circuit during storage and transportation may lead to a sudden rise in temperature, triggering fires and explosions, and easy to spread. Warehouse space, manual inspection efficiency is low, night inspection is weak, may miss the heat hidden danger, delay the time to fight. Deploy multiple online infrared thermal imaging ball and gun machines to monitor the temperature of raw materials, finished products and semi-finished products on the shelves 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once the temperature exceeds the standard that triggers sound and light alarms, compared with visible light cameras, to achieve early detection and disposal, to prevent the expansion of the accident.
